Don Chico's Legend
Narrated by the Don’s Crew:
When all was lost in the world of bubbly soft drinks, there rose a phoenix, a mythical legend- call him what you will; what we are sure of though, is that he was someone who understood that the world deserves something better to satiate their ‘fizzy’ and ‘bubbly’ beverage cravings; particularly when we are talking about ready to drink, non-alcoholic beverages. While little is known about the legend that Don Chico’s is, what we could ultimately salvage was a page from one of his crew member’s diary.
The following are excerpts from the diary, as written by one from the Don’s crew in their own words:
“I have had the honour of witnessing true genius at work. Don Chico- visionary, rebel, alchemist of flavours; saw what others refused to see. While the world gulped down sugary, chemical-laden concoctions, he shook his head in disappointment. “This isn’t how a bubbly beverage should be,” he would say. “A drink should delight, not destroy.”
And so, in his legendary wisdom, he took matters into his own hands. In the dim glow of his workshop, armed with only the finest ingredients and an unshakable belief in real flavour, Don Chico crafted something extraordinary: a sparkling prebiotic soda unlike anything the world had ever tasted.
Not a sugar bomb. But a beverage that puts flavours first. A drink that’s pure, that’s refreshingly real. A drink that not only tickled the taste buds but also worked wonders for the gut. He called it his masterpiece. We call it salvation.
